How did this all start?

In 1991, a young technician, Jesper Jørgensen, founded the company Dansk Medico Service when he set up a workshop in his home in the Danish railway town of Jyderup. The company’s goal was to repair and maintain hospital and laboratory equipment.

In 2002, the company was renamed Nordic Service Group (NSG) as part of an expanded collaboration with subsidiaries in the other Nordic countries. Two years later, NSG formed partnerships with these companies.

In 2023, NSG was acquired by the Trescal Group, which is headquartered in the French capital, Paris. Trescal Group specializes in calibration and measurement technology and offers its services across several regions, including Europe, North America, Asia, and Latin America.

In 2024, Jesper retired from his life’s work after handing over NSG to the Trescal Group.

NSG today has the same goal as when the company was founded, but on a much larger scale than before. The company still has its headquarters in Jyderup but has long since outgrown the workshop in Jesper’s home and now operates from a larger commercial facility on the outskirts of the town. Additionally, NSG has offices in Helsinki in Finland, Oslo and Trondheim in Norway, and Stockholm and Gothenburg in Sweden, where the company, as an independent service partner, offers maintenance and repair of hospital and laboratory equipment throughout the Nordic region.
